A Moment with Mark Salinas, Arts & Culture Coordinator for the Municipality of Carson City

Carson City has a thriving Arts and Culture, Community and Mark Salinas has his eyes on the future growth of that community.
A few weeks ago I was invited to tour the Carson City public arts by Mark. What I saw was a community with a deep history of arts and culture, a community looking to expand and discover who they are by embracing that artistic identity. If you did not know it, Carson City has many art galleries, public art venues, and special events based on the arts.
Mark is a recent addition to the Carson community and has been placed in the position of Arts & Culture Coordinator for the Municipality of Carson City. As you will be able to tell from the video Mark brings a passion for the arts with him and that passion is energizing the community of Carson City.
