“How to Survive Your Family at Christmas” is a new play by Yassi Jahanmir, so new that it has yet to be published. This is quite an honor for Reno Little Theater to be the first to produce this new work.
Loretta Nutt avoids going home for Christmas, feeling no connection to her mom and dad; she wants to avoid them. But try as she might, it seems that the fates are conspiring to bring her home to learn the lessons of “How to Survive Your Family at Christmas.”

Downtown Reno seemed like a good idea for Art Trek, November 11, 2022
Michelle and I headed downtown Reno to check out three galleries. Unfortunately, two of them still needed their new exhibitions hung. But we did find one gallery that we did not expect.

On today’s Art Trek, Michelle and I explored Abstract Realism, Classic Fonts, Cubism, Interesting Color Palettes, and intriguing Mixed Media.

“Tiny Beautiful Things” takes the audience on a journey into those dark times that we all experience but seldom talk about. And it is done with nonjudgmental compassion that will bring you to tears.
