‘Ce Ce Gable’ at Jazz at the Sands, An Artown Event

Reno Resident, Ce Ce Gable entertained the audience at Caughlin Ranch with her Soulful Jazz.

This last Sunday Ce Ce played to a large crowd as part of Artown 2018 jazz music series. She and her Quartet played a show for Concerts on the Green in Caughlin Ranch to an audience of people that ranged from small children to us older folks that enjoy Jazz. I had never been to this venue and I will say that it was a beautiful place to spend a Sunday afternoon listening to some great Jazz.

We have had the honor of having Ce Ce reside and play many shows in the Reno area for many yrs. She was accompanied by John Shipley (keys) and Joe Cadena (trombone) and Neil Stroccio (Drums).

A consummate jazz cabaret performer, she has sung in jazz clubs throughout the United States and Europe. And has been a featured guest artist with the Reno Philharmonic, The Reno Pops Orchestra, and the Carson City Symphony.

Ce Ce has become known for delivering an honest performance and has prompted more than one audience member to say “When you sing, I see the music flow through you and I believe you.”
