Bring the kids\, your friends\, your neighbor\, everyone — and come hang out for a day of artsy fun. \nEvent Highlights: \n– Enjoy 8 winter and holiday-themed art stations with hands-on crafts for all age groups\n– Free book for every child\, courtesy of Spread the Word-Nevada\n– Caroling with the High Desert Harmonies\n– Meet local historian and Lake Mansion expert – Patty Cafferata\n– Santa will be in attendance from 11am-1pm\n– Face painting\n– Explore the open doors of the Lake Mansion\, and more! \n** We’ll also host a Toy Drive to benefit the Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation so please bring a toy to share if you can. \nNo RSVP needed – just bring your friends and family\, and we’ll see you there! \nThanks to our sponsors – the City of Reno Government Arts & Culture Commission\, the Nevada Arts Council\, National Endowment for the Arts\, E.L. I employ a personal vocabulary of marks and colors that reflects the natural world. My work varies from representational to abstract\, and I am continually moving between the two styles. I tend to work in series\, either with the materials I use or the exploration of imagery. Every painting is an experiment to me. My materials\, techniques\, and interests all direct me to a place that craves a connection to the world we live in.
