DESCRIPTION:Stop by Darkshot Coffee\, grab a hot or cold beverage\, check out local art\, and meet the Artist In Action: \nLinda Parisi \nTuesday\, August 19\, 2025\, from 9 am-12 pm \nLocated at:\nDarkshot Coffee\nIn the lobby\, 300 E. 2nd St.\, #101\nReno\, NV 89501 \nAbout The Artist: \nI have been painting off and on for about 20 years. I work mostly in watercolor but dabble in soft pastels\, oil\, and acrylic. I am a member of the Sierra Watercolor Society and Northwest Watercolor Society. I have won awards at many shows in Washington as well as national shows. I have had a small article published in Sketchbook magazine as well as being on the cover of Country Pleasures Magazine two times. I have been published on the front page of Senior Sunset Times. I have held various positions on boards of art associations over the years. I have a permanent display of cars and motorcycles at the LeMay Family Collection at Marymount\, in Tacoma\, WA. I volunteered at an assisted living facility for many years and helped residents paint in acrylic. I specialize in classic cars and motorcycles but also help people remember vacation trips by painting from their photos. Much of my work is commissions but I paint what I love so much when not painting commissions. I’m pleased to be an artist and have collectors in Japan\, many states in the USA\, and Canada.
