I went to work for the Riverside Press–Enterprise in Riverside\, California\, as a staff artist. I worked for newspapers and advertising agencies until I moved to Nevada in 1974.My passion has always been the West\, especially horses. I have traveled all over the West\, mostly on horseback. I work from my own reference material\, my own photos or personal experience. I draw with graphite\, ink\, and colored pencil. I paint with acrylic\, oil\, and watercolor. I recently built a 700-square-foot studio and gallery on my house in Washoe Valley. I can be reached there at 775-443-8558. I also have a retail gallery at the Nevada Marketplace in the Reno Town Mall. 4001 S. Virginia St.\, Or at the Artist’s Co-Op at Wells and Mill St.\, Reno\, Nevada.
