Brüka Theatre presents an original\, immersive theatre experience for October with the reflections of Tarantula Jones. This magical web weaves an experience of suspense throughout a reinvented way of experiencing live performance at Brüka Theatre\, traveling the audience into a gallimaufry of classic literature come to life. This spine tingling journey blends site specific entertainment\, interaction and fun. Audiences meet in The Looking Glass Cabaret to begin this theatrical adventure. This is Brüka’s first show of the “Thirty Wonderful” season. The show plays for 15 total performances. \nADVISORY: Tarantula Jones is suitable for ages 16 and up. Mature Themes. This performance takes place throughout the Brüka’s space. If you have any special needs please let us know in advance so we may appropriately accommodate you. Some segments require standing for 15 minutes or less. \nTHE REFLECTIONS OF TARANTULA JONES runs approximately two hours with one intermission. Evening shows begin at 7:30 pm. The Sunday matinees begin at 2:00 pm. The matinee on October 29 is followed by a talkback with the company and audience. The doors open a half an hour before curtain time. \nSHOW TIMES: All Brüka mainstage evening shows begin at 7:30 PM. Matinees begin at 2:00 PM. Doors open 30 minutes before curtain time. There is NO late seating. \nPRICES: General admission: $30. Admission for Students/Seniors/Military: $26. All tickets are $35 at the door. Additional Ticket fees will be incurred on all online and phone ticket transactions. All sales are final. Ticket exchanges incur a $3 per ticket fee\, space permitting. \nRESERVATIONS: In person or by phone through the Brüka Box Office (775) 323-3221. From 3-6 PM and Wednesdays by appointment. \nPARKING: Court Street parking lot across from The Pioneer Theater. FREE after 5:00 PM weekdays and NO CHARGE on weekends. We validate 5 hour parking at the Parking Gallery on First and Sierra Street. Fee is $1 for the first 5 hours and $3 for every additional hour. \nABOUT BRÜKA THEATRE: Brüka Theatre is entering its 31st season of live theatre in downtown Reno. Brüka’s theme for the 2023/2024 season is: “Thirty Wonderful – The Show Must Go On.” A full season of live theatre with season tickets and season auditions.
