Renaissance Reno Downtown Hotel offers great accommodations, food, libations and entertainment among its fare along with walls and gallery space adorned with works of art created by local artists. Recently they have included a striking exhibit called “Lines of Light” which is the collaborative effort of Striper Josh of The Bodypaint Factory and photographer, Fielding Cathcart. Other featured artists are János Korda and his provocative expressions of emotion on canvas, the multi-dimensional, structural as well as vibrant works of Richard Allen Wells contrasted by Julia Schwadron’s series of 6 black and white, oil on linen paintings that are reminiscent of photographic negatives.
An entire wall of the lobby is dedicated to engraved pet name tags that are artistically displayed.
