This weekend (March 11 through March 13, 2018) the Reno Philharmonic is presenting an Italian Festival.

Check out the video for a taste of the music (there is a sneak peek at the music at the end of the video) and an interview with Alvise Casellati, the guest conductor for this event.

Saturday, March 11th at 9:00 am there will be a free family day at the Pioneer Center.

Here is a list of Saturday’s events:

PRE-CONCERT ACTIVITIES
9:00 – 10:00 AM

There will be activities from The Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum, Nevada Museum of Art, Arts for All Nevada, Blue Note B’s Horn Shop, Conservatory of Movement Dancers, Zeonarda Za Zinchi.

THE CONCERT
10:00 – 11:00 AM

The Reno Phil Orchestra will perform some of Italy’s most famous and beloved music with guest conductor Alvise Casellati.

ITALIAN FESTIVAL
11:00 – 12:00 PM

Food and entertainment provided by Bibo Coffee Co., La Vecchia, John Covarelli – Accordion, Conservatory of Movement Dancers, P’Opera!.

Tuesday, March 13, 2018
7:30PM–9:30PM
