The Kyle Rae Orchestra played to a great crowd the other night. It was a pleasure to hear some of the Big Band Sound of Old. This was truly a family event since he had his Mother Misty singing with a couple of other singers. His whole family of 4 generations were in the audience enjoying the show.

IYDV Master Class at UNR Listen to the Angels Sing

Every year world-famous Diva Dolora Zajick brings her Institute for Young Dramatic Voices (IYDV) in conjunction with the Wagner Institute to UNR for an intensive 3-week training of those young dramatic voices. They gave us a peek at what they do Saturday, July 20th. Four instructors from the IYDV and the Wagner Institute spent 4 hours coaching young dramatic voices in the techniques that will bring their voices from incredibly spectacular to perfect. The American Brilliant Cut Glass Association Dazzles Reno

The dealers’ room will be open to the public free Friday and Saturday, July 19th and 20th from 1 to 5 PM. The Association holds its annual conventions all over the U.S. so we don’t know when they will return to Reno. This will be our only chance to see this spectacularly beautiful collection for quite a while. It is truly a must-see both for its fascinating history and its dazzle.
