The Grove Blues Jam
This year for Artown 2018 has included everyone’s Love of the Blues by having The Blues Jam at The Grove in So. Reno.
Hosted by Bill Nagel’s Joker’s Wild Band and including a gathering of some of the best blues musicians in the Reno area.
This was by far the Largest crowd I have seen in a long time coming out to enjoy the Blues. I would guestimate approx. 200 or so music fans came out to enjoy the evening. Folks of all ages were there enjoying the music.

Some of the musicians that showed up and jammed were: Pete L’Angelle, Dutch, Michael (Harp), Ricky (Harp), Dave Edwards (Bass), Rob (Drums), Sherrie Clay (singer), Gary (guitar), Bob Olds, Randy Theobald (keys), Johnny Lai (keys), B Honey (singer), Jeff Hueston (bass).
I sure hope they can keep the Blues Jam going at this venue. It is such a comfortable place to kick back and enjoy a glass of wine while listening to some of Reno’s Best lay it down for the fans.
