The Nevada Museum of Art Re-opens with ‘The World Stage: Contemporary Art from the Collections of Jordan Schnitzer Family Foundation.’

One of the much-anticipated signs that we are heading back to a more normal way of life is the art community coming back to life. This weekend the Nevada Museum of Art Re-opens with ‘The World Stage: Contemporary Art from the Collections of Jordan Schnitzer Family Foundation.’

It has been much too long since I walked through the doors at the NMA. Yesterday I had the pleasure of doing just that as I met Amanda Horn for a walkthrough of the exhibit “The World Stage”.

In this video, Amanda tells us about the works in this exhibit as well as some of the precautions the museum is taking to keep their patrons safe in this challenging time.

Some things to know before you visit the museum this weekend:

  • Get online or call ahead to make a reservation. There will be a limited number of visitors in the museum so reservations are a must.
  • You are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing wile in the museum.
  • Saturday (June 20th) is Free Admission.
  • Sunday is fathers day so bring your dad on.
