June 6 @ 5:00 pm7:00 pm

The Metro Gallery at Reno City Hall is hosting “A Celebration of Quilts” a group exhibition by Truckee Meadows Quilters. The show runs from May 28 – July 19, 2024, showcasing a wide range of quilt genres.

May 28 – July 19, 2024 Reception, Thursday, June 6, from 5 – 7 p.m.

Appreciate quilted art as you encounter techniques such as hand quilting, vintage-fabrics and patterns, traditional designs, modern creations, classic Hawaiian techniques, appliques, and more. The expanse of styles on display reflects the diversity of the Truckee Meadows Quilters members. Diverse though they may be, they have much in common; their generosity and their joy at sharing their love of quilting with others.

Truckee Meadows Quilters encourages and promotes quilt making and related arts through education opportunities, lectures, demonstrations, workshops, and classes. The group also sponsors and supports charitable quilting activities and promotes the appreciation and knowledge of quilts. Truckee Meadows Quilters warmly welcomes new members any time of the year.
