C5 Celebrates Silent Movie Day featuring Alfred Hitckcock’s “The Lodger”

Celebrate Silent Movie Day a little early with a shadowy journey into the beginnings of the Master of Suspense!
On Sunday, September 27, C5: Classic Cinema Collective kicks off Studio C5’s Month of Hitchcock with a special screening of The Lodger: A Story of the London Fog. Alfred Hitchcock’s landmark silent thriller follows a mysterious stranger who arrives at a London boarding house just as a serial killer known as “The Avenger” terrorizes the city. Is the mysterious lodger an innocent man, or could the murderer be hiding just upstairs?
Join us at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall, 511 W. King Street in Carson City, for an afternoon of suspicion, striking imagery, and early cinematic suspense as we celebrate the enduring magic of silent film.
