“Diverse Dragons Developing Connection, Community, & Collaboration through the Arts” Students of Doral Academy of Northern Nevada

Doral Academy presents “Diverse Dragons Developing Connection, Community, & Collaboration through the Arts”. The artwork from elementary age students is colorful and bold, made in multiple mediums, and are both two and three dimensional. From batik prints and papier-mâché sculptures, to watercolor and pastel paintings, most of the work references Nevada through its nature, landscapes, and activities, while some delves into the fantasy and imagination of childhood.

“Doral Academy of Northern Nevada is dedicated to creating an enhanced and engaging educational experience. Doral Academy provides an academically challenging learning environment with a strong emphasis on arts integration teaching strategies, which increase literacy, as well as cognitive, social, and emotional development.”
