Looking beyond the many faces of dementia, Arbors Memory Care Community will host “My Story” – a photographic exhibition of Residents’ portraits by local photographer Jesse Hon. “Providing person-centered care – that is, tailoring a person’s care to their interests, abilities, history and personality – is fundamental to our mission at Arbors,” says Executive Director Amanda Jenkins. “This exhibit furthers our mission, as it focuses on the people behind the photographs and their unique life stories,” she adds.
Notable Arts and media humanitarian specialist Joseph Galata will be the featured speaker. The event – for which there is no cost – runs from 5:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 21st, and is supported by Compassion Care Hospice. Hot hors d’oeuvres, refreshments, and dessert will be served. |
