Nevada Humanities Literary Crawl

On Saturday, October 12, 2024, the Nevada Humanities Literary Crawl returns to downtown Reno. Bringing a full day of literary celebration and community engagement. From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. participants will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of activities such as workshops, panel discussions, book signings, and family friendly activities. This event is free and open to the public and invites people of all ages to experience the power of storytelling and literature.

The Nevada Humanities Literary Crawl is more than just a local event, it’s the largest literary festival in northern Nevada. Drawing hundreds of literature enthusiasts, writers, poets, and cultural explorers each year. The day will unfold across many local venues along the California Avenue corridor in downtown Reno.

There is something for everyone, making it a family friendly event. In addition to the workshops and panels, there will be a variety of activities tailored to engage younger audiences and introduce them to the joy of reading and writing. As well as 21+ activites hosted at The Loving Cup and 1864 Tavern. These locations will feature discussions, poetry, and more. For those looking to connect with their favorite authors or discover new literary voices, the book signing sessions are not to be missed.
