Something Seen: Humanities Under the Stars | A Special Event to Benefit Nevada Humanities
| Gather around the fire pit and connect over s’mores, poetry readings, and telescopic stargazing at the Northstar California Resort. Show your support for Nevada Humanities while enjoying a beautiful fall evening under the stars! Featuring poets Shaun Griffin (Nevada State Poet Laureate), Melanie Perish, and Jesse James Ziegler (City of Reno Poet Laureate), along with a guided stargazing experience led by Tony Berendsen and Tahoe Star Tours. 100% of ticket sales and donations benefit Nevada Humanities.
Tickets $50 per person. Additional donations are encouraged; you will have the opportunity to add an additional donation during ticket checkout, or you may visit nevadahumanities.org/donate to make your contribution. All proceeds benefit Nevada Humanities. Program 6:30 pm: Gates Open This special benefit event is generously donated by Tahoe Star Tours. Please note that for adults, $0 of ticket price is tax deductible; for children 12 and under, $20 of each ticket is tax deductible. This reflects the actual market value of the ticket price.
