The Hunt for the Blue Grump

Reception: Wednesday, October 14, 5pm-7pm The Hunt for the Blue Grump exhibit is from the wild world of the Upside Down Universe, Reno’s largest collaboratively created interactive art immersive brought to life by over 65 artists. The blue grump grumps are a city-dwelling people of great esteem and prowess. Behold their abilities to negotiate deals, increase fame, and acquire great fortunes. The blue grumps herald the dawn of a new immersive, Upside Down City, coming to Reno in 2028. Each dancing grump grump creature was made by seven artists from The Potentialist Workshop collective. To see more grump grumps, lizard chefs, talking mushrooms and dancing witches, visit their art immersive at 826 E 2nd Street in Reno. The Potentialist Workshop is open Thursday – Sunday from 12pm – 11pm.
