Editor’s Note: Nov 26, 2023

Welcome to my first Editor’s Note.

I have been privileged to immerse myself in the Reno arts scene for the last six years and share my experiences with you. I have been impressed with the creativity and talent of our community’s artists, actors, directors, and behind-the-scenes talent. The Reno arts scene has always impressed and motivated me.

So, on our sixth anniversary, we decided to make some much-needed improvements to Reno Arts News. The most visible of these improvements is the website, which has had a complete rebuild. Check out the changes to the website; I am sure you will be impressed. But there will be more improvements besides the website on the way. Keep watching, and you will see.

Reno Arts News not only offers articles to keep you in the know, but we can add visibility to your business or cause. There is a calendar that is simple to submit your event information and a place to suggest an art-related story that you think deserves to be covered. We also have some new advertising options as well.

Creating and running a publication takes work and effort, so we ask for your support as we move forward with plans to expand our coverage of the local arts. Please consider placing an ad with us or donating to our publication.
