Murder Mystery at the Mother Regina, The Story

Starting out with a brutal murder, Murder Mystery at the Mother Regina introduces a myriad of dynamic characters and many opportunities for blood to spill.

Written and directed by Angelo “Lily” Perez, Murder Mystery at the Mother Regina takes its audience on a bloody spree of murders, violence, sex, and betrayal. The characters are dynamic and take turns being the suspect of the brutality that happens on stage. The storyline may be a bit loose, but the actors brilliantly bring the characters to life on stage.

The story centers around a club called the Mother Regina and its fate as the current owner, Reynaldo Ruse, played by Duane Young, is in the midst of deciding what to do with the club when he retires. The obvious choice to take over the club is his son, Simon Ruse, played by Thomas Rao, but this may not be the club’s ultimate fate. This is where we are introduced to Kit Clover, played by Michael Davanzo,  a slightly arrogant yet influential man who is set on having the club for himself.

There will be plenty of violence and blood. Indeed, the “Splatter Zone” is significant. Come prepared.

There are boys kissing boys, girls kissing girls, girls killing boys, and boys killing girls. Also, gunplay and knife fights abound.

But don’t let the trigger warnings stop you from seeing Murder Mystery at the Mother Regina.
