The Story of Peter Pan Jr.

Sierra School of Performing Art’s production of “Peter Pan Jr.” is a joyous romp into fantasy and magic seen from the eyes of innocence and brought to life in song. We know the story of Peter Pan and his mischievous fairy sidekick, Tinkerbell.

Peter and Tinkerbell visit the Darling children late one night and take them on a wild ride to a land they will never forget. Peter, Tinkerbell, and the Darling children face Guardians, Pirates, Captain Hook, and Lost Boys in this tale of friendship and loyalty that will bring joy to your heart.

The production

The performers are all talented students of the Sierra School of Performing Arts. What struck me was the pure joy these actors brought to the performances, a joy that will warm your soul and fill your heart. Maybe you can tell that I liked it?

The production is solid; from the set, costumes, lighting, and direction, it is seamless. It was the final dress rehearsal that we saw, and it was clear that they were ready for opening night, which is tonight as I write this.

Peter Pan Jr. has a relatively large cast; I believe there are 21 performers. That makes for many moving parts for just over 60 minutes of performing. These young actors show impressive professionalism and desire to give their audience a fun-filled hour of song and fantasy.

Peter Pan Jr. only runs for one weekend; four performances, so don’t miss this chance to experience this fun show.
